Cocoa starts off with a coat of Bertch's rich Sable stain. Random nicks, dents, and dings are applied to the wood substrate, along with small holes that resemble birdpecking. Profiles and corners are sanded down with care, to create a worn edge appearance. Some of the corners are sanded down through the finish layer to expose the wood substrate. Finally, a matte finish is applied to complete the look.
